Monastir: 7 beneficiaries of the Economic Empowerment Program for families with special status in Monastir

In order for the regional authority to ensure the success of national programs aimed at supporting and accompanying young missionaries and special social situations, Mr. Akram Al-Sebri, Wali of Monastir, supervised this evening, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 ,
at the Children's Club, connecting to Monastir, in the presence of Mr. Tariq Al-Bakoush, the first approved and Mr.
Wajih Boumeza, Deputy Commissioner of Monastir, and Ms. Mounia Bouzouita, Regional Delegate for Women, Families and the Elderly in Monastir, for the distribution of equipment and 14 sewing machines, with a total value of 18,641 thousand dinars to seven beneficiaries of the economic empowerment program for families in special situations in the state of Monastir.
To date, 26 families (women and girls) from Bani Hassan, Zermadin, Moknin, Jamal, Talabba, Qasr Hilal and Monastir have benefited from the Economic Empowerment Program for Families in Special Situation for the year 2020 in the Wilayat of Monastir. , with a total estimated value of 88.5 thousand dinars. Represented in sewing machines and sewing workshop equipment (large iron and scissors for each beneficiary).
According to statistics from the regional delegation for the affairs of women, the family and the elderly, the economic empowerment program for families in special situations in the State of Monastir has benefited 86 beneficiaries since the adoption of this program. in 2018, in particular 29 beneficiaries. in 2018, 31 beneficiaries in 2019 and 26 beneficiaries in 2020.
The Governor of Monastir congratulated the beneficiaries of this program, which has contributed to the creation of livelihoods and jobs since its launch for the benefit of families in special situation, especially women and girls in rural areas, urging them to work and further develop their workshops to ensure a source of livelihood for their families on the one hand. And to create other jobs in their regions, pointing out in the same context that many large projects have been launched from small and later turned into small and medium enterprises, including exporters as well.
