The follow-up of the implementation of the two projects for the creation of a sectoral training center for seafaring trades adjacent to the sea fishing port of Tbolba and the rehabilitation and preparation of the vocational training center for sea fishing in Tbolba, was the subject of a working session held today, Friday 01 October 2021

at the seat of the State under the supervision of the Secretary General of State Bashir Attia and in the presence of the mayor Tbolba RiadhNouira, President of the Regional Federation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, Mustafa Taqieh, and Director of the Vocational Training Center in Maritime Fisheries of Talib Omar Kortas, in the presence of a group of regional executives, representatives of the departments and interests concerned. The State Clerk underlined the need for periodic monitoring and continuous coordination between the different actors to complete the procedures and accelerate the allocation or allocation process of real estate in the public maritime domain to be planned for. the creation of a sectoral training center at sea. occupations adjacent to the sea fishing port of Tbolba as well as the preparation of special technical studies for the creation of the new center and the rehabilitation and preparation of the vocational training center in order to ensure the start of works and the completion of the two projects in taking into account the urgency to rehabilitate and develop training specializations in trades and marine sciences on the one hand, and the growing demand from actors in the profession for specialized labor in the fishing sector the maritime sector on the other hand. The head of the Department of Economic Works and State Investment, Rajaa Al-Sharif, indicated that the project to create a sectoral training center for maritime professions was approved by the Prime Minister during his supervision of an excellent working session of the Regional Council municipal council of Monastir on March 1, 2019, emphasizing that many sessions were held and benchmarks established, and the brochures required for this purpose and pending the launch of in-depth technical studies of the project to be carried out on the seaside fishing port of Tabla. from the Tbolba maritime fishing vocational training center, the director of the center, Omar Kortas, explained that credits of 3.5 million dinars were allocated for the expansion of the center and the construction of a complex technical educational center on an area of ​​4059 square meters, in addition to allocating a credit of about 7 million dinars from the German Development Bank agreed to rehabilitate and prepare the center and acquire a school boat, a bus and a truck equipped with a cooler box, and create an educational unit for aquaculture in floating cages and an educational unit using the typical “Aquaponi” technique for freshwater fish farming in greenhouses and integrated into the production of early vegetables.
