The Governor, in the presence of the clerk of Moknin and the Regional Director of Health and in the presence of a number of regional and local officials, was informed of some of the activities of this regional vaccination center, which was opened on the basis of the opinion of the Regional Scientific Committee of the governorate of Monastir and its proposal to add regional vaccination centers in each of Moknin and Jamal and the two coasts in order to accelerate the coordination of the process of vaccination against the Corona virus and strengthen the efforts of the regional centers of the cities of Monastir and Ksar Hilal, as well as a proposal to organize vaccination days against the Corona virus in the basic health centers of the rest of the delegations and to create a mobile vaccination team to cover rural areas and move to homes for the elderly and citizens Unable to move or move around.
The regional vaccination campaign against the Corona virus is continuing in the state of Monastir in a satisfactory manner, with a vaccination rate of 1000 to 1200 citizens per day, where efforts are combined and where the regional and local authority is working to exploit all possibilities for the success of the regional plan in order to raise the level of preparedness and bring services closer to citizens and with the aim of reaching 3000 or more 3500 doses per day, especially after the opening of this third center and the opening of two regional centers in Jamal and Al Sahelin during the following week, knowing that the coverage rate for the first dose at the regional level reached 5.06%, which is equivalent to 30,418 vaccinators, and the rate coverage for the second dose was 3.05%, equivalent to 21,046 vaccinated, as of Friday, May 21, 2021.
The director of the regional hospital of Moknine indicated that the vaccination center of Moknine is expected to receive today 640 citizens and about 160,000 citizens in total, and that it will cover the referral for examination of the delegations of Moknin, Tablaba and Bekalta. .
The governor of Monastir renewed the call to all the inhabitants and inhabitants of the governorate of Monastir to enroll massively in the device designated for the national vaccination campaign, in addition to his call for a massive participation of vaccination centers, being given that the party is still registering daily, leaving between 8 and 10% of people invited to vaccinate despite information of the date of vaccination by short dispatches.
